Story:

“It will be easy: slip in, take the money, and get out," Iffie said as she snuck onto the boat.

Iffie was a common thug, as the police would say. She made her living off of mugging others and stealing goods, often leading to the occasional beat-em' up. She was always a problem child, to quote her mother, but she didn't think of it that way . She was just doing what other people were too wimpy to do themselves. Everyone wanted to take what was theirs, but only a select few had the courage to actually do it.

Iffie had seen a lot of people get on a boat and going out to sea. All women. They would meet a weird Scottish man, then sail out until they were out of view. After doing some research - plus a few interrogations - she learned they were going off on an island retreat. The temptation of a bunch of lazy idiots sitting on the beach, leaving their items unguarded was too much for Iffie. She snuck onto a boat the moment she had the chance.

The island was pretty wild: it was covered in forest, with only a few dirt paths cutting through. She was amazed anyone would even come to a place like this. But now that she was there, it was just a matter of waiting for the guests to go off and relax. However, there didn't seem to be anyone around. The beaches were bare, and as she watched the young girl she followed enter the resort, she didn't see any other guests either.

Iffie followed the current guest down a path. She was odd. She wore clothes of blue, yellow, and orange, and she seemed to like the tedium of walking down paths and up rocks. When she started to head up the island, Iffie made her way back to the resort. A few bucks for the chick's wallet wouldn't be worth the climb.

"Maybe I can get something from the staff. They must have some shampoo or something I can pawn off or whatnot,” she said as she walked back down the path, not noticing the two men following her. When she wasn't looking, they grabbed her arms and held her down on the ground.

"What are you doing here?" the one on the right asked.

“We only had notice of one test subject boarding today. Who are you?” the left one said as he made a glare though his helmet visor.

Iffie figured she was in a lose-lose situation. There was no good way out of this situation. If she lied, she'd be kicked off the island and taken away for trespassing. If she confessed, she would be taken away for attempted theft. It didn't really matter what she said. She would go to jail again. Though she knew how to work the system. She would be good and play nice. Get let out early, and then go right back to what she loved.

"I snuck on board to mug that chick that just went by,” she said, choosing to just come clean. It would make them feel better thinking they caught a potential threat, than some resort-enthusiast.

The two men looked at each other. Iffie couldn't really see their faces behind the visors they wore, but she only assumed they were making the same, 'I know what to do' face. They each nodded at the other, and dragged Iffie back to the resort.

However, when they took her past the two doors that lead into the inner quarters, she realized this was no resort. The woman at the desk winked at her as the two men dragged her into a large hallway full of doors. They stopped at a door labeled “Genetics Research Lab”, and proceeded inside.

One of the two men then went over to what looked like a giant fridge, and grabbed a syringe. He nodded at the other, and they both dragged Iffie out of the room, down the hallway, and then to two doors leading outside.

They guided her out to what looked like a giant fence. It was huge, though why it was that big she didn't know. When they reached the fence, the man Iffie decided to name "Idiot-1" injected her with the syringe. The other opened the gate, and threw her inside. Iffie got up just as the gate closed behind her.

"What the hell, man!?" she yelled. The two men smirked, then walked away. What the heck was going on in this place? Why was this so called resort bringing people to what looked to be a secret lab on a deserted island? Why was there no one here, despite so many people coming to visit?

Suddenly, her body shook, and she fell to the ground in pain. Her back arched over, as her spine began to extend - she cried out as it finished forming into a long, thick tail. She felt a pain in her fingers, as they melded together and became claws. She tried to stand, but her feet flared up in pain as her toes burst out of her shoes, growing into large claws. Her neck started to tingle, cracking and snapping as it stretched out. She let out a roar as her teeth began to grow bigger and sharper, her face stretching out to accommodate, all the while her body grew larger, and more menacing.

The pain was intense... but somehow... it felt so GOOD. She felt a new power forming in her. Her old body was small and frail... but not this new one! She smiled with satisfaction as the final changes gave way. With the last patch of skin turning from tan to orange, she let out another roar. This time, one of dominance.

She was now a dinosaur. Well, at least 80% dinosaur, but she liked it. She was larger, better, stronger, and more deadly.

"There must be others like me on this island. I couldn't be the only one!" she thought, a sinister smile growing on her face. She was gonna show them all what she was made of. She was going to show everyone who's in charge...

Oh, dear. She was a terrible enough person without the Theropod DNA. Don't like where this is going.
