May Rustle - The Wolf

so i started this ref during summer break many months ago, and i just now finished it. you can tell its an older work, as the anatomy and quality of the lines are off. but i figured i might as well finish it. with pokemon and so many owed works getting the better of me, i haven't had much time to get more character refs done. i still have a lot of need to finish for different people, so this was just something quick to get some art out while i continue to work on stuff.

also her updated wolf for is heavily inspired by alfaluna 's werewolves, as in my opinion they are the king of werewolves and i really love all the ones they have drawn over the years.

abilities:

- in her human form, may lacks most of the abilities her wolf form has. however, some of her wolf abilities do say. she has enhanced senses, mainly smell. she also has increased strength, though minor compared to her wolf form.

- may transforms when she feels anger, fear, or stress. her mutation has the nasty side effect of causing her to become more aggressive under pressure. while she isn't aggressive by nature, it is much easier for her to transform due to her quick reaction.

-however, there is another way she can transform. her mutation allows for her to transform via her own will. however, i requires acceptance of her mutation. because she has such fear for her mutation and the terror she can cause, she is unable to transform on her own will.

-if she transforms on her own will, her body anticipates the transformation, and supplies chemicals to her body that remove any pain from the transformation. however, when she transforms via emotion, her body can't anticipate the transformation, and thus does not release any pain reducing chemicals, which causes the transformation to be extremely painful.

- if may transforms willingly, she would also have control of her wolf form. but without accepting her mutation, she is unable to control herself, letting her violent wolf nature to take over. 

- while transformed, her senses are enhanced and she gains Incredible strength. her body becomes more massive and durable. her wolf form needs large amounts of energy to stay transformed, so she often goes hunting for food when she transforms.

- however, even her wolf form is unable to eat enough to maintain the transformation. eventually, her body will not be able to feed the transformation. when that happens, her body will begin to consume the extra cells from the transformation process, thus changing her back to normal.

- after a transformation, her human form must consume large amounts of food to have energy to transform again. this gives may a massive appetite. she consumes 3 times more food then that of a human.

Likes:

-simple pleasures such as reading, hanging out with friends, spending time with her family, and the likes.

Dislikes:

- the aggression and death that comes with her wolf form. she greatly fears it and wishes for it to be gone from her life.
